Meet a candidate for the director position at AASA

The search committee for the director of African-American Student Affairs invites you to meet candidate Mounira Morris. The reception to meet Morris is tonight from 5:45 to 6:45 at Central Bistro, 400 N. Toole Ave. Tomorrow, the student forum and lunch will be held between 11:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. in the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Student Center, Room 209.

Spring break “”Happy Hour”” on the UA Mall today

The second annual “”Happy Hour”” 2006 Spring Break Event will be held on the UA Mall today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The University of Arizona Police Department and the Office of the Dean of Students is hosting the event in hopes of reminding students to stay safe, smart and alive this spring break.

Several booths from different health and safety agencies will be set up to advise students on travel safety, alcohol education, health education and personal safety.

A consult from Nogales, Ariz., will address safety issues for those traveling to Mexico and Mexican auto insurance will be available.
