The ‘co’ title no longer exists in Tim Kish’s position on the Arizona football coaching staff.
Arizona head coach Mike Stoops announced Kish as the Wildcats’ defensive coordinator on Friday. Kish will be Arizona’s defensive coordinator for the team’s trip to the Valero Alamo Bowl on Dec. 29, and will take on the position beyond the Wildcats’ 2010 postseason appearance.
Kish formerly served as Arizona’s co-defensive coordinator focusing on the linebackers along with Greg Brown, who left the Wildcats for a position at Colorado.
“”Tim’s our defensive coordinator,”” Stoops told the Arizona Daily Star.
“”We’re going to go in with the staff we have here,”” Stoops said. “”Hopefully, that won’t change between now and Dec. 29.””
