A protest supporting Palestine commenced on the University of Arizona Mall, led by Students for Justice in Palestine, the Tucson Coalition for Palestine and several others on April 25. Starting Monday, SJP at UA led a series of educational and social events as part of Israeli Apartheid Week to raise awareness for Palestinians living under Israeli occupation. One of the final events of their week-long schedule was Thursday’s protest on the Mall which featured speakers from local groups and student-run organizations.

Protesters start marching along the UA Mall at the University of Arizona on April 25. The protest supporting Palestine lasted for an hour with marching around the Student Union Memorial Center and Old Main.
