The University of Arizona volleyball team (11-2, 0-2 in Big 12) lost its second conference match in Fort Worth, Texas, falling 3-0 to No. 22 Texas Christian University on Friday, Sept. 27 in Schollmaier Arena. The Horned Frogs were able to claim the victory against the Wildcats in three sets, winning 25-15, 25-19, 25-16.
The opening set was led by Kiari Robey who finished with 5 kills. Robey also ended up leading Arizona with 9 total kills for the night. Carlie Cisneros and Jordan Wilson followed closely with 8 kills apiece.
TCU finished set one with a .571 hitting percentage, holding Arizona to just a .129 percentage. The Horned Frogs were able to force the Wildcats to trail the entirety of the first set after a 3-0 start, going on to win 25-15.
Despite never leading, Arizona was able to tie the score multiple times in the second set but would eventually fall short, losing 25-19. Wilson led the set with 5 kills.
Arizona totaled 10 kills in the final set, with Cisneros and Wilson putting up 3 kills each. TCU ended on a 3-0 scoring run to close out set three. The Horned Frogs held the Wildcats to a .098 hitting percentage to win 25-16.

The Wildcats will be returning home to take on Brigham Young University as their first Big 12 home game of the season on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 6 p.m. in McKale Center.
