1. Last day to... Today is the last day to drop a class with a "W" for the fall semester.

2. It's not rocket science… "It's Elementary," the first film to address anti-gay prejudice with advice on how to talk with kids about gay people, will be screening tonight at 7:30 in the Modern Languages building, room 350. Free admission.

3. Gangster jailed… On this day in 1931, gangster Al Capone was sentenced to 11 years in prison for tax evasion.
