Arizona formally introduced Sean Miller as the men’s basketball coach today at a press conference that disclosed Miller’s full contract.

Miller accepted a five-year contract worth $1.6 million annually plus $400,000 of outside income from Nike and IMG.

He also received a $1 million signing bonus.

Per the Arizona Board of Regents, contracts cannot exceed five years. But Miller will automatically receive an extension after two years here, the contract states.

If Miller remains at UA for all seven years, he receives a one-time payout of $2.1 million.

His salary is self-generated through UA athletics – not from any state or federal funds.
