What do you think of CVS’ decision to stop selling tobacco products?

“I personally think it’s OK, because … I don’t smoke, I don’t use tobacco, so I don’t mind it. I think maybe it’s a good thing — to get people off of it, if it’s not on campus.”
— Rheanna Sorenson, journalism sophomore

“I think that they’re going to lose a lot of money. They’re going to have a lot of customers going in, ‘Hey, I’m going to buy a soda, also want to buy some cigarettes. They don’t have cigarettes, I’m going to go somewhere else, like 7-Eleven.’”
— Maurice Ferry, pre-business freshman

“I think the tobacco industry is a very profitable industry, and [CVS] is going to lose a lot of money, and it’s dumb on their part. I don’t see a reason behind it. I think it’s stupid, and they should keep selling it.”
— Grayson Largman, pre-business freshman

“I think its a good idea. My father had emphysema, and it contributed to his death. So, I’m anti-smoking of any kind.”
— Corrine Burbank, geosciences junior
