The University of Arizona Student Unions presents the first installment of their L!ve @ 5 concert series Saturday night with local Tucson band, Tesoro.
The series is set to take over the North Plaza of the Student Union Memorial Center the first Friday of every month at 5 p.m., providing students with local entertainment and an alternative to downtown and Fourth Avenue shows. The concerts are free to students through funds provided by the Student Services Fee Committee.
Tesoro, is a flamenco fusion band that has been recognized as the 2012 top local band in Tucson. It performs in venues throughout Southern Arizona and California, typically showcasing their style in over 100 shows per year.
Tesoro has been dabbling in the music scene since the early 2000’s and has since released three live albums. The band is also in the process of completing it’s first studio-recorded album with well-known producer Jim Waters.
