“On the spot: Mitch Wilson, engineering senior”

    Are you graduating?

I am graduating this May. I am really excited.

So what does the future hold for you?

I am going to grad school.

    Where?

I am going to go here, actually, not for engineering.

    What are you going for?

    Math.

    What are your summer plans?

Catch up on the sleep that I have been deprived of as an engineer.

Are you staying in Tucson for the summer?

    Yeah.

What is the hardest part about a Tucson summer?

The heat if you are outside.

What is the best part about a Tucson summer?

    The heat if you’re inside.

What is your best way to beat the heat?

Find some suntan lotion, a good book and a good pool.

What is the strangest way you have seen someone try and beat the heat?

They looked like a mummy. They were dressed in white.

So you’re trapped in the middle of the desert and all you have are the clothes you have on you right now. What are you doing to beat the heat?

I make a tent out of the clothes I have got and then try and make a kite and fly away?

Would you ever pee on a shirt and put that
on your head trying to cool down?

    Yeah, if I had to.
