The Arizona softball team was one of the top eight schools in the nation last season, making it to the Women’s College World Series for the 20th time in the past 21 seasons.
For the eight-time national champion Wildcats, the search for new players is on the horizon.
The team will hold walk-on tryouts on Sept. 15 at 2:30 p.m., for players interested in becoming a part of the tradition and legacy that is Arizona softball, head coach Mike Candrea announced yesterday.
Interested parties must visit the UA softball office, room 239 in McKale Center, and complete the required paperwork in order to try out.
