Arizona wide receiver Juron Criner is expected to play tonight against No. 6 Stanford at Arizona Stadium on ESPN.
Criner went through drills in full pads with his teammates during pre-game warm-ups after undergoing an appendectomy on Sept. 5.
Arizona’s top wideout ran with his teammates in practice this week but didn’t participate in contact drills.
The senior didn’t travel to Stillwater, Okla., for the Wildcats’ game against Oklahoma State last Thursday and was listed as questionable by head coach Mike Stoops entering this week.
Criner caught six balls for 151 yards and a score in week one against NAU. If Criner does indeed play, it remains to be seen if he’ll start in front of freshman Austin Hill, who finished with eight catches for 128 yards and a touchdown against the Cowboys.
