A man was arrested for criminal trespassing Feb. 5 at Highland Commons, 1224 E. Lowell St., reports stated.

A police officer saw the man wandering around the area and asked if he could talk with him. The man said, “”This is what you really want from me,”” and handed the officer his Arizona ID card.

A records check showed the man had been warned for trespassing on university property Jan. 14.

The man said he remembered being warned by police for trespassing.

He said to the officer, “”I’m just hanging out, not doing anything illegal.””

The officer asked him if he had a reason for being on the campus and he told the officer, “”No, I’m just hanging out.””

The man was cited and released.

An unknown person wrote “”Kill monkey”” on a bathroom stall in the Psychology building, 1503 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

The graffiti, written with a blue ink pen, was found Feb. 5 by custodial staff in the third-floor men’s room.

A student’s bicycle was stolen outside of the Sixth Street Parking Garage, 1201 E. Sixth St., reports stated.

The student said she had locked her bicycle with a U-lock on the north side of the parking garage Jan. 29. She noticed her bicycle was missing Feb. 5.

She said her bike was registered with Parking and Transportation Services but was unable to give police a serial number for the bicycle.

Four students provided personal information when they responded to a false bank e-mail Feb. 4.

The students provided their bank account numbers, bankcard numbers, card expiration dates, Social Security numbers and birth dates in response to the e-mail sent to their University of Arizona e-mail accounts.

The e-mail appeared to be sent from Wells Fargo, but bank officials told the students the e-mail was false.

A student was transported to University Medical Center, 1606 E. Lester St., for alcohol poisoning Feb. 4, reports stated.

The student and her sister left Dirtbag’s, 1800 E. Speedway Blvd., and offered $300 to a man in the parking lot to drive them home.

The man said he would drive them, but they did not have to pay him.

The student started vomiting in the man’s car, so he parked behind a convenience store and said the student needed to get out of his vehicle.

Her sister asked the man to drive them back to the bar instead.

He drove them back and the sister got out of the vehicle and walked back to the bar.

The man called police, who found the student asleep on the ground with vomit on her hair and clothes. She was unable to stand or walk by herself.

Police asked the student’s sister why she had left the student alone. She began crying and told police she would not answer any questions.

A man was arrested for stealing a bicycle at Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St., Jan. 3, reports stated.

Two people told police that they saw a man steal a bicycle outside of the residence hall and then leave. He was wearing a black leather coat and a gray knit cap.

Police saw a man matching the description riding a bicycle at North Euclid Avenue and East Caddie Street. The man also had a bag and a hammer.

The two witnesses said he was the same man they had seen steal the bicycle.

The man was booked into Pima County Jail.

A university employee’s car was damaged between 7:15 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. Feb. 2.

The employee noticed the damage after she had driven home.

The keyholes on her car had been punched out on both doors while it was parked in lot 8106, 1420 E. Seventh St.

Nothing was missing from the car.
