A student reported his $16,000 vehicle had been stolen sometime between Sept. 23 and Sept. 25 while it was parked at 1832 E. First St., reports stated.

Police met with the student at the Phi Delta Gamma fraternity house, 1801 E. First St., where the student told police he had parked his vehicle in the Zone-1 lot just west of the police station.

The student told police he parked his vehicle at 2 a.m. Sept. 23 after spending the night at Championship Dining, 446 N. Campbell Ave.

The student noticed his vehicle was missing at 8 a.m. Sept. 25.

Police asked the student if he had parked his vehicle somewhere else or left it at the bar.

The student denied leaving his vehicle in another location and said he had already checked to make sure it hadn’t been towed by Parking and Transportation Services or Championship Dining.

The student called police about six hours later and said he had located his vehicle, reports stated.

The student told police he had been unable to park in the lot on Saturday because of the football game and had forgotten he drove to a friend’s house and parked his vehicle.

The student said he spoke with his friend earlier in the day and was reminded about his vehicle.

Five bicycle seats were found at 8:21 a.m. Sept. 25 outside of Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St., reports stated.

Police were on bicycle patrol when they found the seats on a bench on the north side of the residence hall.

Employees working at the front desk didn’t have any information about the seats.

Police told the employees to tell their residents about the found seats.

A student’s $340 lime green cruiser bicycle with pink handle bars and $25 cable lock was stolen sometime between Sept. 24 and Sept. 25 from the bike racks

outside of Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St., reports stated.

The student told police she had seen her bicycle locked to the bike racks on the east side of the residence hall at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 24.

At 12:19 p.m. Sept. 25 the student noticed her bicycle had been stolen, reports stated.

The bicycle wasn’t registered with PTS and the student didn’t have the serial number.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.

A student’s $255 Zone 1 parking permit was stolen sometime Sept. 21 from his friend’s vehicle parked at 421 N. Cherry Ave., reports stated.

The student told police he had loaned his permit to a friend at 3 p.m.

The student’s friend drove a soft-top vehicle that had been left unsecured until 5:30 p.m. when the friend returned and noticed the permit was gone.

The student told police he didn’t know the permit number but had notified PTS about the incident.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.

Two 8-foot tall wood poles were destroyed at 1:10 a.m. Sept. 24 at 1202 N. Cherry Ave. by five unknown women, reports stated.

A security guard told police he had seen the women breaking the poles and followed them as they walked south on North Cherry Avenue.

The security guard eventually lost sight of the women.

Police circulated the area for the women but were unable to locate them.
