Prepare to vote now

The Associated Students of the University of Arizona will continue early voting in its office, located in the Student Union Memorial Center, until Nov. 7. Students who are not registered to vote in Pima County can request an absentee ballot online from the county in which they are registered. Students are encouraged to request absentee ballots as soon as possible.

Recognize the person who yells at you five days a week with a fruit basket or a nice e-card. If you have a good boss, go the extra mile and send him or her a singing telegram. This may not give you the big bonus you’ve been hoping for, but maybe you’ll get a smile.

Red Campaign kicks off

With the help of Oprah and Bono, the Red Campaign kicked off Friday to raise money for the Global Fund, designed to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. Red iPods, red cell phones and red clothing are all part of the campaign, which aims to raise millions of dollars.
