Arizona defensive coordinator Mark Stoops will leave the UA football team for the same position at Florida State, according to multiple media outlets, including ESPN.com.
The brother of UA head coach Mike Stoops, Mark is currently in his sixth season at Arizona. Before that he coached at Miami (Fla.), South Florida, Houston and Wyoming.
Mark Stoops, 42, replaces Mickey Andrews, who announced his retirement last month. He was also a top candidate for the head coaching job at Youngstown State.
