UA Honors College students showcased their work at the Inaugural Honors Expo on Monday afternoon in the North Ballroom of the Student Union Memorial Center, where nearly 100 students presented.
Projects included senior theses, first-year projects and club activities. The expo also included a series of individual talks, as well as poster board presentations.
“These are their passions, the things that they want to do to make the world a better place and to discover new knowledge to help people advance,” said Dr. Patricia MacCorquodale, dean of Honors College.
The landmark event was about engagement with students, as well as engagement within the community. The Honors College hopes to help these students gain real-world experience to better prepare them for the job market.
