Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will speak at a free on-campus rally tomorrow.
President of the Associated Students of hte University of Arizona, Tommy Bruce, confirmed Clinton’s visit last night. He did not know a precise time or place but said those interested in attending can visit www.asua.arizona.edu today for updates.
The Arizona Daily Star and KOLD-TV 13 reported yesterday afternoon that Clinton will speak at 4 p.m.
Bruce said ASUA invited all of the presidential candidates in August to come to the UA, and then the remaining individuals again last month.
Actress Kate Walsh visited the UA on Jan. 22 to speak on behalf of Democrat Barack Obama, Clinton’s chief opponent.
Also that day, Clinton spoke at a town hall in Phoenix.
Arizona’s state primary is Tuesday.
