Police pulled the teenagers over around 8 p.m. and saw a half-full bottle of rum at the passenger’s feet. There was a 9-year-old sitting on the passenger’s lap.

The passenger admitted to drinking and said the rum was his. He said the 9-year-old was his sister.

When police asked the child for a name, the child gave a girl’s name. Police called the 9-year-old’s mother so the child could be picked up.

The mother told police she did not have a daughter and had two sons. Police told the mother the 9-year-old had long hair and was wearing a dress.

The mother told police her older son was a cross dresser and said he had probably dressed up the boy. She said her younger son was probably wearing a wig. Police removed the 9-year-old’s wig and saw he was a boy.

The boy apologized for lying and said he had dressed himself.

The two teenagers were cited for having an open container of alcohol in a car. The older brother was also cited for underage drinking.

The two brothers were released to their mother, reports stated.

Ran Feb. 9

Police arrived around 1 a.m. and approached the student. The student was swaying and smelled like alcohol, reports stated.

The student said he did not know anything about the motorcycles. The student said he had been walking home from North Fourth Avenue and had been on the phone with his brother.

The student said he had walked by the two motorcycles and had described them to his brother.

The student said his brother told him not to kick the motorcycles over, reports stated.

The student said he then walked away from the motorcycles and saw another man walk over and kick the motorcycles down.

Police asked the student what the man had looked like and the student said, “”Actually, just like me.””

Police told the student it was improbable that someone who looked just like him had been in the same area around the same time.

The resident told police he had been in his room when he heard a car alarm go off. The resident said he looked out his window and saw the student looking into a car window.

The resident told police he went into the parking lot and began following the student, reports stated.

The resident said the student was swaying and talking very loudly on a cell phone. The resident saw the student go up to a yellow motorcycle and kick it, causing it to hit a red motorcycle. Both motorcycles fell to the ground.

The owner of the yellow motorcycle said it would cost about $2,240 to repair the damage done to the bike.

The owner of the red motorcycle said it would cost about $150 to repair his bike.

The student was arrested on one felony count and one misdemeanor count of criminal damage, reports stated.

Ran on Feb. 16

The employee told police she received the e-mail around 1 a.m. The employee said she could not remember the former student, but said she must have taught him while she was at another university.

In the e-mail, the student said he was a student of the employee in 1981. The former student said he remembered the employee because she was a “”pretentious ass,”” reports stated.

In the e-mail, the former student said he now worked for the government. The former student then made comments about how awful the employee’s class had been.

The employee told police she wanted to document the e-mail in case the former student sent others, reports stated.

Ran on March 2

Police got several reports of the woman driving recklessly and pulled her over around 9:45 a.m. The woman was pulled over at North Cherry Avenue and East Helen Street.

The woman was crying and told police she was mad at her boyfriend.

The woman said she did not have a driver’s license.

The woman told police she had found another woman’s number in her boyfriend’s cell phone.

The woman said she had picked up her boyfriend and had punched him in the face. The boyfriend then got out of the car and ran away, reports stated.

The woman told police she had followed the man in her car and said she didn’t remember if she was trying to run him over.

Police asked the woman if she wanted to take anything with her to jail. The woman said her purse and asked police to get a change purse out of her larger purse.

Police opened the purse and saw a green plant material and rolling papers.

The woman said she had forgotten it was in there.

The woman was arrested for disorderly conduct, aggravated assault, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and driving on a revoked license, reports stated.

Her car was impounded, and the marijuana and papers were placed into evidence.

Ran on March 9

When police arrived around 3:30 a.m., the RA said he had gotten a knock on his door.

The RA said he looked out the peephole and saw a man in a ski mask with a trashcan filled with water propped up against the door.

The RA said in January a similar incident had happened to him. The RA had opened the door and the trashcan had tipped over, spilling several gallons of water all over his room.

The RA said this time he called another RA and together they removed the trashcan and dumped out the water.

The RA said he tried to find the man who had put the trashcan there. The RA saw a man with a ski mask propped on his head in the sixth floor study lounge.

The RA said, “”Do you think you’re funny?”” and asked the man what his room number was.

The man then got up and left the floor, and the RA did not see him again.

The RA said he could not be positive that the man in the ski mask and the man in the study lounge were the same person, reports stated.

Ran on March 23

When police arrived around 10:30 a.m., the employee said the potato chips had gotten stuck in the machine. She said she thought she could loosen them by giving the machine a kick.

The employee told police she tried to kick the metal dispenser on the machine, but said she accidentally kicked and shattered the glass.

The employee said she immediately wrapped the machine in plastic and tape and put an “”out of order”” sign on it so people wouldn’t steal the food inside, reports stated.

The employee said she would pay for the damages. Police contacted the vending machine owner. The owner said he did not want to press charges if the employee was willing to pay for it, reports stated.

Police found a wet substance on the floor, bookshelf and on two books. Another student in the library said she had also heard the man masturbating, but said she hadn’t seen anything. Police took pictures of the area and collected evidence, reports stated.
