Bayless focused on new business world

NEW YORK - Jerryd Bayless always handled basketball at Arizona with an all-business approach, focused on ultimately reaching the professional level. Formal wear became Bayless' signature pregame attire during his one-year tenure in Tucson, consistently dressing to maintain the professional affect - even off the court as a college athlete with a dream. But although Bayless captured that goals on June 26 - he was selected as a lottery pick in the guard-heavy 2008 NBA Draft - the former one-and-done UA guard still has unfinished business.

The great wait continues in 'JenningsGate.' The nation's highly-touted 6-foot-2 point guard will wait another week to receive his SAT results, which determines his NCAA eligibility for the 2008-09 season, according to ESPN.com. After College Board flagged his SAT retake earlier this year, Jennings was forced to take the test a third time on June 7 in order to meet NCAA student-athlete requirements.

NEW YORK - As the nation's top college basketball prospects anxiously awaited their respective futures at the 2008 NBA Draft last week, former Stanford Cardinal Brook Lopez felt comfort around familiar peers.
