Intelligent design: an unintelligent idea

Ben Stein, best known as the economics teacher in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," the host of his own game show and the mascot for Clear Eyes, has somehow managed to procure an even more humorous role - as the poster boy for intelligent design, the laughingstock of the scientific community.

Suffice it to say, all men were not created equal. When it comes to measuring up - in inches, that is - some of us end up with the short end of the stick. Does size really matter? History paints a different picture from the present. In today's society, we've created indices of potential penis size by observing the largeness of a man's hands, the size of his feet or the length of his earlobes.

Cop letter 'misguided outrage' Yesterday's letter titled " 'Kill Cops' photo irresponsible" by Ashley Harris and Alexandra Pesqueira is a perfect example of misguided outrage. Instead of attacking the protesters, they lay the blame on the newspaper that published a photo of them.
