Members of the UA-AATech team mount solar panels on the roof of the desalination bus made for the Navajo Nation by the UA College of Engineering. According to STAR School CEO Dr. Mark Sorensen, the inspiration to use desalination techniques came from the Standing Rock protests of the Dakota Access Pipeline.
