People put their wishes onto the Wishing Tree at Winterhaven on Dec. 16. The Wishing Tree is a 25- year-old Winterhaven tradition.

Sugar-glazed ham, a side of collard greens and macaroni and cheese on a plate for Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 28. My dad also made a whole turkey with some stuffing, but my sister and I always prefer ham.
