Vice president candidates Tim Walz and JD Vance came to Tucson on Oct. 9 to hold their own rallies. Walz’s rally was held at Palo Verde High Magnet School, where his main topic was on the border. Vance’s rally was held at the Tucson Speedway, where he spoke for about 20 minutes about the southern border, inflation and energy resources before he left for a campaign event in Mesa.
