Former President of the United States Barack Obama rallied for the Harris-Walz campaign on the University of Arizona campus on Oct. 18. He was welcomed by a crowd of thousands inside the Cole and Jeannie Davis Sports Center where local politicians and Democratic candidates also endorsed the Harris-Walz campaign. This was Obama’s first visit to Tucson since 2011 when former U.S. Rep. for Arizona Gabby Giffords was shot and critically injured.
