The Wildcats started slow, even having their lead tied early on, but quickly regained their momentum with a final score of 93 to Akron’s 65. Five wildcats scored 10 points or over, with two other Wildcats, Anthony Dell’Orso and Henri Veesaar just missing with 9 and 8 points respectively. This victory ensures they move on to the round of 32 against the University of Oregon on Sunday, March 23.
