Arizona came up short in the Holiday Bowl against SMU, 19-24 to end their season 9-4. Genesis Smith, Treydan Stukes, and Dalton Johnson all opted out of the game less than an hour before kickoff. After being held scoreless in the first half to SMU’s 24 points, Arizona slowly got back into striking distance in a game that never felt close to many fans. Arizona finishes their season with 9 wins and will look to the next season.
