The Arizona men’s basketball team (23-0, 10-0 in Big 12) stay undefeated in a dominant 84-47 win against the Oklahoma State University Cowboys (16-7, 4-6 in Big 12).
This win marks history for the Wildcats as they now have the best start for a team in the history of the Big 12 at 23-0.
Freshman guard Brayden Burries led the Wildcats, scoring 15 points on 7-for-11 shooting and eight rebounds. Burries made a lot of tough shots that helped keep the momentum and helped the Wildcats control the glass.
Senior guard Jaden Bradley added 13 points on 5-for-8 shooting with a rebound and four assists. His dunks energized the Wildcats and showed why he is the leader of the team.
Bradley spoke on how he hopes to use his veteran experience against Kansas, “you know, it’s crazy in there. It’s hard to hear yourself, and their fans are crazy. Kansas is a great program. They have a great team this year, so it’s going to be a tough atmosphere, but I feel like, you know, we’re going to go out there and handle business, for sure.” Bradley said.
OSU’s leading scorer was senior guard Anthony Roy, as he finished the game with 10 points on 3-for-11 shooting with four rebounds.
Their second leading scorer was senior forward Parsa Fallah, as his night ended with 8 points on 3-for-7 shooting to go along with five rebounds.
How the game went
Both teams opened cold, starting a combined 0-for-10 from the field. The game then started to pick up and stayed close, including a 25-18 Arizona lead heading into the last 5 minutes of the first half. Arizona went on a 15-4 run to take a 40-22 lead into the half.
Then, the Cowboys truly fell off their saddle
The Wildcats outscored the Cowboys 44-27, including starting the second half with a 21-8 run. The Wildcats just kept dominating the paint, winning 26-8. The game was over well before the second half, with the final score being 84-47.
Arizona quickly turned an early, slow start into a dominant, historic win, using balance, defense and control of the paint to overwhelm Oklahoma State.

Now undefeated at 23-0, the Wildcats head into a tough matchup against Kansas at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kansas with confidence and momentum, looking to keep their run alive. The game is at 7 p.m. and available on ESPN.
