The Surly Wench Pub and three other 4th Ave bars have partnered with the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault to bring the Nightlife Safety Project. Participating bars and clubs agree to adopt a zero-tolerance policy for unwanted sexual aggression. If patrons are being harassed, they can ask bar staff for assistance.
