The chances are slim that the Arizona baseball team’s leading hitter from a year ago will play this season.
Colt Sedbrook, an infielder who hit .339 in 2006 as a sophomore, has struggled with personal issues and hasn’t played in any of the Wildcats’ eight games this season.
UA head coach Andy Lopez said yesterday that he doesn’t expect Sedbrook back at all this season.
“”As of this morning I was told that the chances of him (resolving the issues) were not good,”” Lopez said.
Lopez has a meeting with UA officials this morning at 9 to further discuss the situation and get more “”concrete”” information, he said.
