    Valley Fever Awareness Week Farness Lecture. Presented in conjunction with Medicine Grand Rounds at the UA College of Medicine, this lecture will include a discussion of valley fever in Arizona, the role of physician education in improving patient care and a presentation on a drug being developed at the UA as a possible cure.     Student panel. Presented by the Honors College, UA students will present their cross-cultural experiences and impressions on studying abroad. Noon. Slonaker House

    Graduate writing workshop. Victoria Stefani will discuss “”Tried-and True Strategies for Written and Oral Exams.”” 4 p.m. Modern Languages building, Room 410

    Gender identity. Presented by UA Residence Life, SafeZone presents a forum that will introduce definitions, address gender expression and basic transgender identity theory and strive to dispel myths about the transgender community. 5 p.m. SUMC, Rincon Room

    Immigration student panel. This Immigration and National Security International Student Panel will feature international students who will discuss immigration and national security issues. 5 p.m. Center for English as a Second Language building, Room 102

    Blood drive. Participate in one of the first multiday, multilocation blood drives on campus. Make an appointment by calling 1-800-GIVE-LIFE or walk in to any campus location. Blood drive locations include the UofA Bookstore and North Grand Ballroom in the SUMC, the Games Room in the Park Student Union and on the UA Mall near the Main Library.
