    • Teach for America. Jeremy Tor, a 2006 UA alumnus, discusses how Teach For America corps members are changing the life prospects of their students while setting themselves up for long-term success in whichever field they plan on pursuing. 12:30. Free. Social Sciences Room 332
  • Teach for America. Amy Hermalik, a 2005 UA alumna, gives a short information session regarding Teach for America. If you’re considering Teach for America or are curious about it, this information session is for you. 8 p.m. Free. Student Union Memorial Center, Tubac Room
  • Persona deadline approaching! The deadline for submissions to Persona, the UA’s undergraduate literary and art magazine, is this Friday! You can submit your work in the English department office in Modern Languages 445, specifying that it be placed into the Persona mailbox.   • Free screening and discussion. Al Gore’s “”An Inconvenient Truth”” is being showed courtesy of the Institute for the Study of Planet Earth and the Global Change Doctoral Minor Graduate Interdisciplinary Program.
