    Student enrollment up

    Notice a few extra bodies on campus? No wonder. The number of students enrolled at the UA has reached 37,217, an all-time high. Enrollment figures show that 6,569 freshmen are at the UA this year, up 560 students from last year.

    Don’t drink and drive!

    Arizona’s tough new DUI law takes effect today. New penalties include mandatory ignition-interlock devices for first-time offenders, increased fines and a minimum of 45 days in jail for super-extreme DUI convictions – those involving 0.20 blood-alcohol content or higher.

    Blast from the past

    The Society for Creative Anachronism is hosting a demonstration at the fountain next to Old Main. Enjoy feasting, needlepoint, spinning, equestrianism, live weapons competition and more. The event runs today from 4-7 p.m.
