Paolo Nutini brings his ‘New Shoes’ to the Rialto

If you’ve ever put on some new shoes and suddenly everything seems right, you’ll be in good company at the Rialto Theatre on Tuesday night with Paolo Nutini.

Nutini is going to be promoting his album Sunny Side Up, released back in June. His new stuff still upholds his soulful, folk, indie pop style he is best known for, yet is bringing about something new for his listeners.

Nutini knew at a young age that music was special to him; it was the one thing he knew he could do. Dropping out of school at the age of 16, he went on singing and traveling with bands. Eventually he moved London, and right after he turned 18, he was signed to Atlantic Records.

This Scottish rising star is sure to wow Tucson with his live performance. With his older favorites like “”New Shoes,”” “”Last Request,”” and “”Rewind,”” as well as his new stuff like “”Coming Up Easy,”” you know you’ll find a song you can relate to and dance along with.

Make sure you check out the alluring, timeless sounds of Nutini when he comes to town. It will definitely be a performance you won’t want to miss. The Rialto Theatre, 318 E. Congress St. All ages. Doors open at 7 p.m. Call 740-1000 for more information.
