The fourth floor of the library is a solid place to get your mack on. Just watch out for the girl studying and the old guy on the couch with his hand down his pants.

College life is 20 percent about learning and 80 percent about new romances and stolen kisses. The key to a great kiss relies not only on the person and their mood but also the atmosphere leading up to the kiss. Some of the best places to kiss in Tucson are serene and quiet, providing an ideal atmosphere for romance.

There is Himmel Park, 1035 N. Treat Ave. Not only does this park have hilly and grassy areas – in case you want to roll around and do a little more than kissing – but there is also a playground with swings large enough to fit adults. Himmel Park is often devoid of children and pedestrians during the nighttime but beware because the sprinklers can put a damper (no pun intended) on the evening if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time.

DeAnza Drive-In Theatre is a popular and cozy spot. Located on 1401 S. Alvernon Way, the prices are lower than general admission at regular movie theaters, and the seating arrangements are entirely up to you. Depending on what type of car you have (a truck bed is recommended with a blanket and some pillows), you can adapt your comfort level considerably. Check the weather forecast first, though, because rain and heat are not always good with popcorn or kissing.

The Chocolate Iguana, 500 N. Fourth Ave., is a delectably sweet cafǸ. A short stroll from campus, they have freshly made candies, such as chocolate covered gummy-bears, and a lovely assortment of pastries and drinks. Treat your favorite person to some candy and a drink, and plop yourself down at a seat overlooking one of Tucson’s most artsy streets. The tables are large enough to get the job done but small enough so that you can steal kisses from across the table.

If you’re not willing to walk or drive very far, there is the infamous fourth floor of the UA Main Library. Legends tell of various happenings on the fourth floor, but lovers are to be cautioned because often the events featured in the Arizona Daily Wildcat police beat transpired on the fourth floor of the library (such as perverts flashing people in the bathrooms).

Whether you employ this list or decide to find your own personal place for the best kissing action, remember to kiss wisely.
