Applications for the 2007-08 Bobcats Senior Honorary are now available at the Swede Johnson building, ASUA office or online at www.arizonaalumni.com/Bobcats. Bobcats are selected based on scholarship, leadership, community involvement and a commitment to the UA. Football introduces 2007 recruits

Arizona head coach Mike Stoops will announce the football team’s newcomers today. The Wildcats have a 17-member class that ranks No. 40 in the nation, according to rivals.com, a recruiting Web site. The Wildcats have had two national top-20 recruiting classes in a row.

    Fruit pictures misleading

More than half of the food and beverage products that have a fruit pictured on the package contain little to no actual fruit, according to a study conducted by the Prevention Institute, a nonprofit health advocacy group. Products such as Juicy Fruit gum and Froot Loops cereal did not contain any fruit, while Smucker’s Jam, Fruit Roll-Ups and Apple Jacks cereal had some fruit.
