UA athletic director Jim Livengood is expected to meet with Xavier coach Sean Miller this morning, according to multiple reports.
Miller boarded a flight at 8:19 a.m. EDT from Cincinnati to Albuquerque, N.M., the neutral meeting site where Livengood will discuss Arizona’s basketball coaching vacancy.
According to the Arizona Daily Star, Livengood is believed to be offering a five-year, $13 million contract.
The private plane that chartered Miller to Albuquerque will depart back to Cincinnati at 12:17 p.m. MDT, then continue to Detroit at 4:40 p.m. EDT, according to flightaware.com, which is the site of the Final Four.
Miller, a 40-year-old Pennsylvania native, has coached Xavier to a Sweet 16 and Elite Eight over the past two seasons.
