    Crop plants lecture
    Rod Wing leads a session titled “”The Arizona Genomics Institute: Structural and Evolutionary Analysis of Crop Plants.”” This will be held in Thomas W. Keating Bioresearch Building room 103 at noon.

    Life on Europa
    In “”Unmasking Europa,”” the first popular science book to be devoted entirely to Jupiter’s ice moon, Europa, Richard Greenberg explains why Europa is widely regarded as the most likely place to find accessible extraterrestrial life. The book also tells the human stories of the Galileo mission to Jupiter and its moons. This will be held at the UofA Bookstore at 4:30 p.m.

    Wanderlust workshop
    Got wanderlust? This workshop covers everything a woman needs to know before hitting the road, including how to conquer your fear, fend off parasites (and sketchy men), handle culture shock and avoid getting tossed off Trans-Siberian trains for not having your papers in order. This event will take place in the Student Union Memorial Center room 404 at 7 p.m.
