    Police Beat

A man was arrested after driving on a suspended license Tuesday.

Police stopped the man after an officer observed him speeding.

Police reports said the man admitted to driving with a license suspended because of a DUI.

A records check revealed an outstanding warrant from Pima Community College.

The man was handcuffed, searched and booked into custody at the Pima County Jail.

A man was cited for possession of a fictitious driver’s license on East Fifth Street Sunday morning.

The man was seen sleeping on a bench just north of Arizona-Sonora Residence Hall, 940 E. Fifth St.

Police woke the man and asked for his identification.

When the man signaled that it was in his back pocket, the officer retrieved the man’s wallet himself.

Upon opening the wallet, the officer noticed two identification cards with different names.

The man said he found it in his residence hall.

Police cited and released the man.

Police towed an abandoned limousine Saturday near the 1800 block of East Speedway Boulevard.

An officer approached the limo and noticed unlocked doors, an open window and beer cans strewn throughout the interior.

The officer was unable to reach the vehicle’s driver or the company that owned it. The limo was then towed and a notice of its new location given to the rental company.

An officer noticed graffiti in the north stairwell of the Manuel T. Pacheco Integrated Learning Center, 1500 E. University Blvd., on Saturday.

On the top of the stairs was a stenciled outline of a rabbit in black spray paint with the word “”thumper”” underneath,
    according to reports.

Police measured the rabbit at approximately 10 inches tall and 5 inches wide and the words at 2 inches in width.

Police notified Facilities Management and took photos of the scene.
