Arizona senior receiver Juron Criner may miss the 2011 season because of undisclosed medical reasons, according to multiple reports.

Criner was scheduled to take part in an ESPN publicity tour, similar to quarterback Nick Foles prior to the 2010 season, but canceled because of family reasons.

“”(Ka’Deem) Carey’s availability somewhat offsets concerns that All-Pac-10 receiver Juron Criner might not be available for training camp in August,”” wrote the Arizona Daily Star‘s Greg Hansen. “”Criner’s status for the 2011 season remains uncertain because of undisclosed medical reasons.””

Criner was a unanimous All Pacific 10 conference selection in 2010, catching 82 passes for 1,233 yards.

San Jose Mercury News writer Jon Wilner wrote on his Twitter page: “”Regarding Criner’s medical condition: Not an injury, but serious situation.””
