    CAMPUS BRIEF

Students caught in prank with rotting fish, cow, pig

Four UA students were questioned by authorities yesterday in connection with a prank they attempted involving a U-Haul full of rotting fish, cow and pig organs that caused the evacuation of Midtown homes and a preschool.

The truck was parked on the 3500 block of East Camden Street near North Country Club Road and East Pima Street.

Entrails were also found in 10 trash cans that were submerged in water and horse manure. It is not known how the students obtained the entrails.

The students, who told police they were planning on dumping the truck in the yard of someone’s home as a prank, were questioned and released by authorities yesterday and could face charges including theft of trash cans, criminal damage and disturbing the peace.
