The Daily Wildcat is the award-winning, student-run and editorially-independent news outlet serving the University of Arizona and greater Tucson since 1899. We publish daily at wildcat.arizona.edu, and distribute our nationally-recognized print newspaper monthly across the University of Arizona campus and neighboring communities.

We need people who are passionate about journalism to help the Daily Wildcat continue to grow in an ever-changing industry. This is a great opportunity for you to learn everything there is to know about journalism, including storytelling, AP Style, interviewing skills, lede writing, data journalism, design, editing, video, photography, social media and more. Applying for the Daily Wildcat
We typically hire at the beginning of every academic semester, and then on a rolling basis throughout the following months.
The Daily Wildcat is currently hiring copy editors, illustrators and opinions writers.

Take down policy
The Arizona Daily Wildcat does not unpublish content upon request unless serious factual errors exist in the content or personal safety is at serious risk. Published content remains a part of the historical record and should not be unpublished since news organizations should not rewrite history or make news disappear. While the online archive of Daily Wildcat material remains more accessible to the public and can be altered easier than print content, it is no different from the newspaper archives that have always existed. However, take down requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and the staff may deem it necessary to remove content from the published archive.
