Chester High School’s basketball forward Rondae Jefferson was named to the East roster for the Jordan Brand Classic today. The Pennsylvania native signed to Arizona in September after receiving offers from Florida, Memphis, Rutgers, Syracuse, Temple and Texas.
The 6-foot-7 high school senior is a five-star recruit and is number 17 in the ESPN 100 recruiting database. Jefferson averages 12.1 points, 9.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.
The high school all-star game has hosted famed athletes including Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, and LeBron James. The 12th annual Jordan Brand Classic will take place on April 13 at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn and will be nationally televised live on ESPN2.
