“On the spot: Elisa Ali, communications junior”

So how do you like walking around campus with all these people handing out flyers and whatnot, badgering everybody?

Um, not so much, I don’t like hearing I’m going to go to hell every time I walk to class. Someone is always in my face yelling at me or handing me some kind of pamphlet about Jesus. I mean, I’m religious, don’t get me wrong, I’m just not their religion.

What about the monks hanging out around campus?

No, I don’t think I’ve seen them. I guess I haven’t been privileged enough to. Maybe tomorrow, we’ll see. Fingers crossed.

Did you see Brother Jed the other week in all his glory?

Yeah, I saw him and the signs that went up later. It was nice not to hear his voice too much though, because all of my classes are in the morning and my ears aren’t a big fan of him at such an early time.

Worried about the wrath of the
    Almighty?

Haha. No, not really. Haha … I’m banking on him judging me
    accordingly.

Looking forward to school getting out for the summer?

For sure, I’m going to Connecticut for the summer, it’s going to be glorious. … Way better than being in Tucson. I’m not a big fan of the 125,000-degree weather.

    Yeah, most people aren’t.

For real. Those troopers that actually come back to town after their schools get off are nuts.
