UA presidents on TV
A show about four UA presidents will air on TV this week.
“”A Conversation with the Presidents,”” will air tomorrow at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 5 p.m. on Cox Cable Channel 19 and Comcast Channel 76.
The show will feature President Peter Likins and former presidents Manuel T. Pacheco, Henry Koffler and John P. Schaefer.
Bake sale on Mall today
There will be a bake sale on the UA Mall from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today for the making of the children’s film “”Zombito.””
Cookies, cupcakes, brownies and other tasty items will be sold.
With the purchase of a cookie box, you can see your name in the credits of the film, which will be publicly screened in May.
Lax Cats host San Diego women’s lacrosse games
This weekend students can watch the UA women’s lacrosse team take on three San Diego university teams.
The Lady Lax Cats will face San Diego State University tomorrow at 10 a.m. at Rincon Vista Field.
On Sunday, the Lax Cats will face University of San Diego at 10 a.m. and University of California-San Diego at 1 p.m. at the same location. There will be free Red Bull on Sunday, organizers said.
Rincon Vista Field is south of campus on East Fifteenth Street near South Plumer Avenue and South Tucson Boulevard.
Staff Advisory conference fee increases tomorrow
Registration for the Crossroads Conference increases after today.
The Crossroads Conference, which is sponsored by the Staff Advisory Council, is a personal and professional development conference encompassing career, family and education.
The event will be held March 17. Cost of registration is $50, but will increase to $65 after today. Cost includes continental breakfast, workshops, lunch, vendor room access, chair massage and door prizes.

Hangar party Saturday
The UA Flying Club will be hosting a hangar party Saturday at 6 p.m. at Ryan Airfield, 9700 W. Ajo Way. Students interested in joining the club are welcome to attend. Annual dues are $20. New members will have a chance to take a night flight with the club’s student and professor pilots.
