  • Faculty community lecture. The principal investigator for the UA’s Phoenix Mars Mission will speak about “”The Phoenix Mars Mission: Uncovering the Mysteries of the Martian Arctic.”” 7-8:30 p.m. University Medical Center, DuVal Auditorium.
  • Meet award winning author Diana Gabaldon. The author of the New York Times best-selling author of “”Lord John and the Private Matter”” and the popular “”Outlander”” novels will be signing her books at the UofA Bookstore. 4:30-6 p.m.
  • First Tuesday forums on American Democracy and elections. Project Vote Smart and the UA political science department will host a forum on “”The Latino Vote.”” 4-5:30 p.m. Conference Center of the Sheraton Four Points Hotel, 1900 E. Speedway Blvd.
  • A Lesson on Stereotypes. The Social Justice Leadership workshop will talk about how stereotypes affect our lives. 5-6 p.m. Student Union Memorial Center, Room 404.
