“Campus Cats: Christina Heaton, psychology senior”

    Who is your greatest inspiration?

Probably my mom, because she’s always been a really high-achieving woman and she puts herself out there and sets her goals. She definitely achieves them. She goes above and beyond to do whatever she needs to do to get there as a woman. I have always really looked up to her in that sense.

You mentioned that your mother achieves her goals. What are some of your goals for the future?

I really want to get my PHD in psychology and become a clinical psychologist. It is a competitive field, so that is one of my biggest goals.

What is one of your favorite songs on your play list currently?

That is hard. I like a lot of different kinds of music.

    How does music inspire you?

Music is definitely something that can set the mood. I feel that whenever you’re in the mood to work out, certain types of music are good. It can inspire anything. Whenever I am in a down mood I play music and get myself in a better mood or I can relax myself with music.

Where is your favorite place to travel?

I love going to Europe. If I could I would just travel and backpack all around Europe. Obviously, it’s hard to do that with work and school and such. I really want to go back to Italy and I really want to go to Spain.

Traveling to Italy is a long flight. What do you do to entertain yourself?

When I went there I was with my friends. We definitely just played around and played pranks on the people that fell asleep on the plane.
