Norman Weinberg, right, a music professor and director of percussion studies, and associate music professor Mark Rush perform the world premiere of ‘Pointing Out Your Ruse’ last night in Crowder Hall. The piece was written by Craig Walsh, a world-renowned musician who was asked by the music department to write a score for the unusual pairing of these two instruments.
