The Allstate Sugar Bowl’s Manning Award has included Matt Scott in its eight “Stars of the Week” quarterbacks. The Manning Award Player of the Week will be determined on Thursday by voting on the Allstate Sugar Bowl Facebook page.
Scott accounted for four touchdowns and 469 yards of total offense in Arizona’s 39-36 upset victory over then-No. 10 USC on Saturday. He completed 27-of-50 passes for 369 yards and three touchdowns, and added a career-best 100 rushing yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.
Scott’s 469 yards of total offense rank as the fourth‐most in a single game at Arizona. He has 3,089 yards of total offense this season, the No. 3 single‐season total at Arizona. Scott has four games over 400 yards of total offense this season to claim four of the top‐10 spots in program history.
He leads the Pac-12 and ranks No. 2 nationally in total offense with 386.1 yards per game.
