The Arizona football team wrapped up its annual spring football game on Saturday, April 24 at Arizona Stadium.
The first spring game of the Jedd Fisch era included former Arizona football players Rob Gronkowski, Tedy Bruschi, newly hired men’s basketball coach Tommy Lloyd and women’s basketball head coach Adia Barnes. Fans were also allowed inside the stadium for the first time since 2019, creating an atmosphere that has not been seen in Tucson in a long time.
“I appreciate everybody coming out to the game,” Fisch said. “I appreciate our fans, appreciate our students and obviously appreciate our football alumni and honorary head coaches. Most importantly, I appreciate our players and our coaches for having a heck of a spring.”
