    Learn about the candidates

    Project Vote Smart’s tour bus will be on the UA Mall today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students and other members of the UA community can visit to get information on the candidates for the U.S. presidential election.

    (Kind of) dark side of the moon

    The Flandrau Science Center is holding a free public viewing of today’s total lunar eclipse at 6 p.m. It is the last such eclipse until December 2010.

    Figure skater Tara Lipinski became the youngest-ever medalist at the Olympic Winter Games (1998), John Glenn became the first man to orbit the earth (1962) and Caroline Mikkelsen became the first woman to go to Antarctica (1935).
